Our story
Anit Cuts and Stitches is a fully-handmade women’s clothing brand. Anit Cuts, first founded in Nigeria in 2015 and moved to the United States in 2016, uses African fabrics to make clothes that transverse cultures. The name, Anit Cuts and Stitches, stems from “cutting” different pieces of fabrics and “stitching” them together to make elegant outfits. Whatever your need may be, ready to wear or custom-made with delicate details, you can count on us.

Founder and DesignerAnit Cuts and Stitches founder, Celestina, was born and raised in Nigeria where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in economics. After completing her undergraduate studies, she learned how to make both African-print and English wears. While creating designs, Celestina draws inspiration from nature and cultures. She holds clients’ satisfaction dear to her heart and is also passionate about sustainable fashion. She plans to obtain a degree from a fashion institution. She has had the privilege to design for a few celebrities, seen her designs on TV Shows, Emmys's purple carpets, and so on. “She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.” |
